These Warranty Terms & Conditions ("Warranty Policy") apply to eligible products purchased through www.vipbags.com ("Website"), owned and operated by VIP Industries Limited ("VIP", "Company", "we", "our", or "us").

This Warranty Policy outlines the warranty coverage, exclusions, claim process, and remedies available for eligible products sold under the brands VIP, Skybags, Caprese, Aristocrat, Alfa, and other brands operated by VIP Industries Limited.

This Warranty Policy should be read together with the Website Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and other applicable policies published on the Website.

By purchasing and using a Product covered under this Warranty Policy, you agree to be bound by these Warranty Terms & Conditions.


1. WARRANTY COVERAGE

Subject to the terms of this Warranty Policy, VIP provides a limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for eligible products purchased from VIP Industries Limited, its authorized channels, or the Website.

The applicable warranty period is as follows:

The warranty period shall commence from the date of purchase as stated on the original invoice or proof of purchase.

Warranty coverage is available only for defects arising from normal use of the Product and is subject to inspection and verification by VIP or its authorized representatives.


2. WHAT IS COVERED

This Warranty Policy generally covers:

  • Manufacturing defects;
  • Defects in materials;
  • Defects in workmanship; and
  • Functional failures attributable to manufacturing defects occurring during the applicable warranty period.

VIP reserves the right to determine whether a reported issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect covered under this Warranty Policy.


3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This Warranty Policy does not cover damage, defects, or deterioration resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Cosmetic damage;
  • Scratches, dents, stains, fading, or discoloration;
  • Improper use or misuse;
  • Negligence;
  • Mishandling;
  • Accidental damage;
  • Improper storage;
  • Exposure to extreme environmental conditions;
  • Unauthorized modifications or alterations;
  • Unauthorized repairs;
  • Damage caused by third parties;
  • Loss or theft of the Product; or
  • Damage caused by natural disasters or other external events.

This Warranty Policy also does not cover damage caused during transportation by:

  • Airlines;
  • Airports;
  • Railway authorities;
  • Transport operators; or
  • Other carriers.

Customers should report transit-related damage directly to the relevant carrier immediately upon discovery.

5. PROOF OF PURCHASE REQUIREMENT

To process a warranty claim, Customers may be required to provide:

  • Original purchase invoice;
  • Order confirmation;
  • Tax invoice;
  • Warranty documentation, where applicable; or
  • Any other information reasonably requested by VIP.

Failure to provide satisfactory proof of purchase may result in rejection of the warranty claim.


6. INSPECTION AND VERIFICATION

All warranty claims are subject to inspection by VIP Industries Limited or its authorized representatives.

During inspection, VIP may assess:

  • Product condition;
  • Nature of the reported defect;
  • Cause of damage;
  • Warranty eligibility;
  • Evidence of misuse or mishandling; and
  • Product authenticity.

VIP reserves the right to reject claims that do not satisfy warranty eligibility requirements.

The determination made by VIP following inspection shall be final and binding.


7. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT

If a warranty claim is approved, VIP may, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the Product;
  • Replace the defective component;
  • Replace the Product with the same model;
  • Replace the Product with an equivalent model of comparable value and functionality; or
  • Provide another remedy considered appropriate under the circumstances.

Replacement Products may differ in colour, design, features, or specifications from the original Product due to product updates, discontinuation, or inventory availability.

Repair or replacement of a Product shall not extend, renew, or restart the original warranty period unless otherwise required under applicable law.


8. INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY

Where applicable, warranty service may be available through authorized service centres located in India and selected international locations.

Availability of international warranty support may vary depending on:

  • Product category;
  • Country of residence;
  • Local service infrastructure;
  • Regulatory requirements; and
  • Availability of authorized service providers.

9. COMMERCIAL OR NON-CONSUMER USE

Products used for commercial, rental, institutional, industrial, or other non-personal purposes may be subject to separate warranty conditions.

VIP reserves the right to determine whether a Product has been used in a manner inconsistent with ordinary consumer use.


10. FRAUDULENT OR INVALID WARRANTY CLAIMS

VIP reserves the right to reject warranty claims where:

  • Information provided is inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading;
  • Product ownership cannot be reasonably established;
  • Product has been altered, tampered with, or modified;
  • Supporting documentation is unavailable; or
  • The claim otherwise fails to satisfy warranty eligibility requirements.

Where misuse or abuse of the warranty process is suspected, VIP may take action in accordance with the Website Terms & Conditions.


11. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

Except as expressly provided in this Warranty Policy, all warranty rights shall remain subject to the Website Terms & Conditions.

Warranty remedies are limited to repair, replacement, or such other remedy as may be determined by VIP in accordance with this Warranty Policy.


12. FORCE MAJEURE

Warranty services and claim processing shall remain subject to the Force Majeure provisions contained in the Website Terms & Conditions.


13. CHANGES TO THIS WARRANTY POLICY

VIP reserves the right to amend, modify, update, or replace this Warranty Policy at any time.

Updated versions shall become effective upon publication on the Website unless otherwise stated.
